Our sonic architecture is built on a foundation of crushing riffage and articulate, driving percussion, layered with catchy and intricately intertwining melodies.

Forging a Timeless Sound

Insolitus features experienced members from Immanent Distance, Darker It Gets, and The Great White Nothing. With main songwriters Fré Clement and Kaatje Desmet, the band aims for the timeless rather than the temporary.

Instead of escapism, our music aims to resonate deeply with the listener. For fans of Amorphis, Soilwork, and The Halo Effect, Insolitus is a fresh and powerful new voice in the prolific Belgian melodic metal scene.
